Alhaji Abdullahi Inde Dikko MFR, OFR, the immediate past Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service is dead.
Dikko who worked with the Service between 1987 and 2015 is said to have died after a protracted illness.
Born on May 11, 1960 in Musawa town, Katsina State, he served as Customs Comptroller-General from 2009 to 2015.
Until his death, the ex- Customs boss was being probed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as well as the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The Federal High Court had stopped ICPC from arresting and prosecuting Dikko last December.
His houses and other assets worth billions of naira had however been seized by the EFCC.
